Guyz N Dollz looks upon the Festival of Trees as a very important part of the Holidays. Not only can you look and buy brilliantly crafted Holiday items and get great ideas for decorating on your own, the festival itself benefits Primary Children’s Medical Center. This is a beautiful way to enjoy the spirit of the Holidays while supporting your community.
All dance teams and groups from Guyz N Dollz will be performing this year at the Festival of Trees at the South Towne Exposition Center 9575 So State Street in Sandy, Utah. We are scheduled to begin performing on December 3, 2009 at 7:10 p.m. on the North Stage! Drop by and see us!

We have a lot of fun at Guyz N Dollz. With our focus of singing, dancing, and acting, we develop performance groups and provide opportunities to add to your own style independently as well.

As a member of Guyz N Dollz, as with our parent company, Midvale Main Street Theatre, you are able to have opportunities to have a full-sized live-Theatre experience.
Whether you are looking for great new ways to be creative in what you love the most, or just trying out new things that may help you spice up your life, Guyz N Dollz has a place for you.
We do in-house performances and rehearsals, but we also travel! Sometimes quite long distances! (Of course, participation away from the studio is always up to you!)
Here is what we know for sure, when you have a group who is doing what they love, everyone becomes more than acquaintances. We are always glad to welcome new members to our growing extended family! Will you be next?
Under the Direction of Tammy Ross and Wendy Smedshammer, registration will be held July 31, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. to Noon, and again from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. (You may show up whichever time will work best for you.) at the Guyz N Dollz dance studio located at 139 East 6100 South in Murray, UT. For more information, just call us at 801-262-4047.

It’s definitely Summer in Utah, but the heat hasn’t slowed us down a bit! Right now at the Guyz N Dollz Performing Arts Academy in Murray, Utah, we are having a blast!
We are currently teaching Private Voice Lessons, Dance, and Acting at the Guyz N Dollz Studio.
There is a Cheer Camp going on with teacher Alicia at the helm!
We are in the middle of a Summer Theatre Camp which is being held every day at the Midvale Main Street Theatre! People in this group are getting opportunities to practice on a full-size stage with theatrical lighting, directors, and guest teachers. We have improv professionals and performers (Logan Rogan and Eric Jensen from Off Broadway Theatre) who are teaching about ways to continue the action on stage, and professional Actor, Eric McGraw, who helped us work on projection and movement to get our messages across. Eric taught about how to develop a character that is unique to you, even though many other people may have played that same role in the past. We have also had Hip-Hop Dance Artist, Cole Hights, teaching this group which gives them something new to beef up their resume’s with. We will have a performance of a program that is being written and developed by the group and their Directors, Wendy Smedshammer and Tammy Ross, which the acting troop has named “A Haunting at the Midvale Theatre.” This variety program will be held on July 23, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the Midvale Main Street Theatre for the families of those enrolled. You are welcome to join us.
Did I mention that we travel? Yep, we do performances out and away from the studio. If you have a need for live entertainment, we are a super source for you!
…and let’s not forget Nunsense! Though Nunsense is a Murray Community theatrical production, it is being Directed (and starred in) by our own, Wendy Smedshammer! Nunsense begins July 28, 2009, and is held at the Amphitheatre in Murray Park. For more information, call us at (801)262-4047.
